The Noble Life of a Noble

Paradox Dreams

The nobles live in New York

They never eat without a fork

They are disciplined as you can see

Never late to pay a fee

They sit at the table tall and straight

All reflected in their gait

.

Now you must respect them

Their daughter is a true gem

Their son is too

Just, he is a little blue

The sun shines upon them each every day

Making them all the more gay

.

Little Rose is exceptionally smart

And faster than a bullet train cart

Her brother John is not so fun

He takes the light out of the sun

Like a ghost to embrace the night

First of them all to shun a fight

.

Their parents are nice and kind and sweet

They are the sort you would want to meet

Always ready to welcome guests

Never taking exterior tests

Always donating to charity

A New Dawn

Thought I should repost this because it is one of my best works
yet and it deserves more views and love ❤️

Paradox Dreams

As the tides turn
The world rotates
Change will come to all
Whether to make or break

              .

You cannot control this
It is out of your reach
Accept it and move on
This is what life will teach

              .

If you ever feel down
Everything goes wrong
Always remember that this path
Will eventually lead to a new dawn

              .

Every dream of yours
Can be achieved
Even if you fail don’t despair
Just believe

            .

Every turn at the crossroads
Is like a new start
Once more down the yellow brick road
Keep the hope burning in your heart

            .

So at a time of disappointment

Rebirth

I started out writing this poem for a competition. I didn’t win. But I did get honourable mention.

The butterfly spread out its wings and plunged into the light,

All around it flowers bloomed and called the end of night,

The summer months were humid so and winter was a trying time,

But with the arrival of spring came the chance for another life,

In the far reaches of the valley the stream passed lazily by,

As, in the forest, the trees shook their branches with pride,

The animals all clustered round awaiting their elixir of life,

The waterfall gushed down the rocks to the rescue of the wildlife,

The season of life is sprung again one feels it in the air,

So never forget that after a gruelling winter, spring will always be there.

The latest news from the One Peace Band

A little sprinkle of fairy dust

A touch of ye old magic

The greed that leads to power lust

That makes the dire tragic

.

If you’re determined you can change your fate

Just by trying harder

Do the best you can

You’ll only come out stronger

.

So, take up your weapons it’s time for a fight

You know you can bring this world to light

.

So, fight it, fight it, fight it again

Fight it, fight it, fight it again, now

Fight it, fight it, fight it again

Fight it, fight it, fight it again now

Fight it

.

Your heart will be your guiding key

To open the door to success

Failure may be what you fear

But stay strong and move on

.

You are the place

You are the voice

You are the one

Now make a choice

.

Faries and mages may cast all they want

But join in the battle we need you up front

.

So fight it, fight it, fight it again

Fight it, fight it, fight it again now

Fight it, fight it, fight it again

Fight it, fight it, fight it again now

Fight it again

And beyond that we will be adding a title and an ending so stay tuned for more updates from the One Peace Band!

This is a re-post of the first poem I had ever written. I had posted it very long ago and it’s not exactly my best work but it was being ignored because no one saw it so I re-posted it.

Stars can’t shine without Darkness

If you think the world is not right

You are not getting your share of limelight

None will indulge you in your plight

For you are undeniably blind.

.

If you want to get something done

Do it yourself and be number one!

You’ll never get anywhere by whining or complaining

Work hard, if you want to be the one shining

.

Keep trying and never give up

Be the one to rise to the top

Go the extra mile and show them you’ve got star power

Don’t lose sight of the goal of the hour

.

Don’t cower in the shadows

Raise your voice and make yourself heard

Keep trying if you want to succeed

Work hard, because stars can’t shine without darkness

Chocolates

Everyone, this was the first poem I ever wrote! Don’t judge it. I wrote this poem when I was 12.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tons and tons of chocolates galore
All in our lovely little store
Each we’ll sell, one by one
To a very hungry tum
.
They’re yummy, they’re sweet
They also make a wonderful treat
A single we can’t eat
We need just one more sweet
.
They are delicacies to our tongue
Which we eat when we are young
They take away the bitterness
Of sad memories and crisis
.
They make us happy
And all the more yakky
This makes our moms
A lot more snappy
.
But they’re still yummy
And they’re still sweet
After all, who doesn’t want
A choclatey treat?
A New Dawn
As the tides turn,
Always remember that this path,
Will eventually lead to a new dawn,
Can be achieved,
Even if you fail don’t despair,
Just believe,
Every turn at the crossroads,
Is like a new start,
Once more down the yellow brick road,
Keep the hope burning in your heart,
            .
So at a time of disappointment,
When you have not done your best,
Keep calm and move on,
Because life is a basic test,
                .
Wherever you go, whatever you do,
If ever you commit any wrong,
It is only after a long journey,
That you will reach, a new dawn,
If a Pen Writes a Letter…
You will find me in the shop
Sometimes with a spinning top
All my siblings will be there too
In case you’re looking for more than just a few
.
We’ll all be sitting, waiting around
Making no sound
The little shop at the end of the street
That is where we’ll meet
.
So now you know where to find us
None near a rust
If you want to inspect
Carry your magnifying lens
.
We are not hard to spot
That is why we are always caught.
We come wrapped in a lovely box
With a neat bow tied on the top.
.
So come on, come along
May as well be singing a song
For at the shop you will find delight
This is the pen’s letter, a little insight.
